Curiosities:Sangiovese grape is one of the oldest and most popular in Italy, especially in Tuscany, Umbria and Emilia Romagna. According to a legend owes its name to the Capuchin Fathers of Santarcangelo who, inspired by the hill (Jupiter) on which stands the convent and the intense colour of the wine, decided to call it "the blood of Jove", from which he derives the name “Sangiovese”.
